Shipping Info
Shipping & Exchanges
Orders are processed within 2-3 business days, Monday–Friday. Please note during our busy season, October–December, and during any special sale events, orders will take additional time to process. Processing means preparing your order for shipment and does not include the actual transit time.
Once items are prepared/processed for shipment, standard shipping in the continental U.S. takes 1–5 business days in transit. Most items are shipped from Fairhope, Alabama.
Special Order: Any items titled Special Order will be shipped directly from the vendor and may require additional shipping time.
Any purchase with a pre-order item included will ship complete unless additional shipping is paid to split the order and ship separately..
In-store pick up is also available. Choose the in-store pick up option at checkout, and you’ll receive an email once your order is ready for pick up.
Order and Shipping Confirmation
Upon ordering you will receive three email confirmations:

When your order has been successfully placed

When your order has been dropped off for shipment

When your order has been delivered
The shipping confirmation will include your order number, tracking number, and ship date. When receiving your order confirmation, please double-check that your shipping address is correct, as we are unable to redirect goods once they are en route. Orders returned to us due to address error will not be reshipped until the customer corrects the address and pays additional shipping costs.
Shipping Costs
We currently ship in the continental U.S. via UPS or USPS. All shipping options will populate at checkout.
Please note that additional shipping costs may apply for oversized or overweight items. In this case, you will receive an email and invoice for the additional shipping costs. Once the invoice is paid, your shipment will be sent.
We encourage orders exceeding $200 to purchase additional shipping insurance. If you would like to add insurance to your order, please email us at fivegoldmonkeys@gmail.com upon placing your order.
Packages in Transit
We ship via USPS and UPS. We are not responsible for any items that go missing during transit or are misplaced upon delivery. We can require a signature for delivery upon request—please email fivegoldmonkeys@gmail.com at the time of your order to request this.
Order Cancellations
You may cancel your order up to 24 hours after purchase as long as your order has NOT been processed for shipment or is a Special Order. All special orders are considered final sale and cannot be canceled, exchanged, or returned for any reason.
Exchange/Return & Damages Policy
Returns are available for store credit (gift card) or product exchange only. Special Orders are not eligible for return/exchange and are considered Final Sale.
Returns/exchanges must be initiated within 10 days of delivery or pick-up date. (We allow additional time during the Christmas season for non-seasonal merchandise.) Items must be returned unopened/unused and in their original packaging.
To initiate a return:

If the return is due to an error on our end, we will provide a prepaid UPS return label.

All other return shipping is the customer's responsibility.

Please Note:

Returning an item is at your own risk. Ensure it is adequately packaged and insured, if desired.

We are not liable for items damaged or lost in return transit.

Items damaged when received by us are not eligible for store credit or exchange.

If your item arrives damaged in transit, email fivegoldmonkeys@gmail.com with photos of the damage and the shipping box within 3 days of delivery.
Late Returns
Any item returned after 10 days from the delivery date is not eligible for exchange/store credit. The only exception is for holiday orders that do not include seasonal merchandise. Non-seasonal items/orders placed in December will be accepted through the month of December.

Processing a Return/Exchange
Store credit or exchange will be issued once your return is received and approved. Items damaged upon receipt are not eligible for credit/exchange.
Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable, except in the case of faulty or damaged items.
Your store credit will be emailed to you upon return approval.
